Yea but its mostly for young girls who are incredibly nervous about it being inserted or for woman whos GP were not able to insert it (for various reasons!)
Have seen it done in the GP surgery and most woman just complain of feeling a bit uncomfortable , for some it is slightly painful but if they are really nervous they tense up and becomes painful for them !!!
