My weight loss journal


Hi. I am Tina. I have two kids (Jasper, 5 & Makena, 3). I have been TTC without success for 2 years, and even tho the DR's say weight isn't my issue, I can't help but think it is. But also, I just feel unhealthy and fat. I feel ugly. I am not happy with myself. I was always a very skinny person until I had kids. After my daughter I suffered post-partum depression and I just never lost the weight. Well, I am SICK of feeling this way. I am ready to do something about it. I lost 90lbs after I had my son (all that I had gained during pregnancy) and so I know that I can lose 40. That is my goal: 40 pounds, and today is day 1.

Breakfast: tea with cream and sugar (no caffiene)
banana

went for 20 minute walk pushing Makena in stroller

Lunch: tomato rice soup
mandarin orange
1 cup skim milk

30 minute walk with Makena in stroller...LOTS of hills!

1 slice of cheddar cheese and tea with skim milk, no sugar.

Well, I suck at keeping track of what I eat, but I have been doing not so bad. There has been a couple times where I cheat but for the most part I am doing good. The only bad thing is that I have been working full-time and so the walks are not happening. That sucks. But it is only two more weeks and then I am off for awhile.
