| If your not good at cooking, all you need to do is prepare a salad each night (no cooking their) and have it with new potatoes or cous cous (which you can buy in packs where you just add boiling water and stand for 5 mins) or brown rice, then grill a bit of chicken, pork or fish.
For lunches if you normally have sandwiches, repace this with wholmeal pita breads, you can get assorted weight watchers tinned tuna in diff dressings (asda have on offer at the mo) or chicken and salad or turkey bacon or all sorts. Just aviod most cheese's.
For breakfasts opt for a wholegrain cerial, oats are best as they are a super food and will help your digestive system.
Drink loads fo water (aim for 4 pints a day), plenty of fruit, now is the season for strawberries, and you can always have them with low fat icecream.
And if you want to have a night of munchies with a dvd or something, opt for microwave popcorn, very low fat, and a nice sweet inocent smoothie. | | | | Status: Offline

You need a goal to aim for , not something that will upset you and make you feel worse.
if you think like that you wont get anywhere with your diet , think of another reason to do it.
There is plenty of exercises you can do aswell , mixing it with looking after your 2 little ones | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | If you are doing a lot of excercise Rach then it could be because you are building up your muscles .. apparently muscle is heavier than fat so if you dont feel like you have put on weight then that may be why. Also you have lost a lot in the first two weeks anyway and i was always told that if you lost a lot one week then it is sometimes hard to lose again the week after.
Am i making sense or just rambling .. lol.
I have been doing slimming world since october 2005 and lost just over 2 stone but then stopped losing weight in august last year when i stopped smoking. Havent put any back on but fed up with staying the same so started weight watchers on tuesday and have lost a pound and a half already this week so hopefully i will be able to lose another 2 stone now!
Good luck to everyone who is trying to lose a few pounds .. i have been on diets since i was 11 ( so 15 years ) and know how hard it is |

the reason you lost so much the 1st week is because you lost the water from your body and the bloatedness.
you might not be doing enough excercise to match your calorie intake , its a hard question to answer unless you know your diet , excercise routine , weight , height , lifestyle etc etc
and depends alot on what excercise you are doing (cardio , muscle etc etc)
and yes muscle weighs alot more than fat | | | | Status: Offline

| Wobbs and I have been talking today and will be looking at putting in more of a dieting section to the forum, so we can track weight loss, and I have some other ideas so we can help motivate each other.
