My neighbor has a wii and we used to use it a lot. It was so much fun, but she moved about 6 months ago. I really like the Wii.

I have a Dance Dance revolution pad and game. A lot of people don't know what it is but it was one of the first ground breaking exercise video games. Mine is for the playstation one, so you can tell how old it is.

There's a kid doing it. in this video if you want to know what it looks like. Obviously this kid is VERY good. The game has a lot of different songs and you can put them on different difficulty levels. I;m not that good but I;m not to bad either. well for a really big girl.

This kid makes it look easy but it is quite the workout. It kicks your butt. It also tells you how many calories you burn.

Cooney! Not kidding, I lost 3 stone on this when I was 15! My parents bought it for me for Christmas and I played it for 12 hours a day for about a month - I didn't even realise I was exercising and when I went back to school after the xmas holidays, there were rumours going round that I had anorexia I've still got it but don't have a ps1 so trying to hunt for one and then I think I might give it another go!

Yeah, you have to practice for a while before you get good enough to burn any real calories on it. The beginner songs are very slow. Once you get it down though it's LOADS of fun. I used to go the the arcade every day during the summer when I was in high school and just spend all my money. It's the only exercise I can stick to and do every day. Back then I knew I was inadvertently getting exercise, but what I really cared about was beating my brother at it.

The thought of beating my brother (or my OH) always spurs me on!

I don't know if the UK has ebay, but I bought my ps1 for 25$. Not bad considering when I was looking at getting wii fit I was looking at around 300$. I got the mat and the gam on amazon.com for around 60$ for both. They have DDR for ps2 and ps3 if you already have one of those. I think they also have it for wii. Not sure about the xboxes though. I know you also have to get a mat that works with the right console. Mine works with all of them though, even the PC. I'm not sure if they have DDR for the PC (I would imagine so) but I know there is a free game similar to DDR for the PC that my mat works with. I need to look for it.

Well, I know we haven't officially started yet! LOL.
But in the last 2 days, I've done 1hr40mins of exercise!
We bought an exercise bike, so I'm going to change my goal - lets say 3 hours of exercise per week!
