I gave birth to my daughter in January, breastfeed for 8 wks, decided to be safe and went to see my doc,(as i did not want another bundle of joy just yet) she put me on the mini pill because I was still breastfeeding have now stopped and have gone through 2 packs of these pills (which have 28 pills per pack) and have still not had a period! I done exactly the same with my oldest and my period arrived within weeks. I have one more packet left and then I'm going back to the docs - has anyone else experienced this or should I be grateful!!!

i'm not sure when AF should return but mini pill is not effective to use unless combined with breastfeeding which if you really don't want another just yet you really need to use something else to prevent getting pregnant.

it can take a while for AF to come back though sorry i know i'm not much help.
