Is anyone thinking of joining WW or SW??

As the title says...

I went to the doctor today and had a chat about weightloss. I've come to the stage where I want to continue my weight loss (I lost 8stone 2years ago but have a good bit more I want to lose).

The doctor told me that they'll do a referral to Weight Watchers or Slimming world for me wherever I choose and that the NHS will give me a voucher which will pay for it for 12weeks. Then providing I have lost 5% of my bodyweight in that 12weeks they will provide a voucher for a further 12weeks and so on...

Just wanted to let you know in case any of you want to join but can't afford it etc.

Really? I didn't know that they would pay. I've been doing WW and have lost 5.5 lbs...another 5.5 Pounds until I reach my 5% goal

I wish they had that here in Canada!
That's great that they'll help financially!

That's great. There isn't any way my insurance would pay for that. They would much rather you be heavier and charge you more for it.
