I'm deaf for the weekend..

I got out the bath and my left ear felt funny, so I stuck a cotton bud in it and BAM bye bye hearing! Mums gonna pick up some eardrops on her way home from work. God, whatever next? Hope it clears up before Monday and I don't have to go to the doctors!

Sounds like you need to get your ear flushed. Sometimes when the wax gets too built up, that will happen. If you go to your dr, he will wash out your ear and that sould do the trick. It is the weirdest feeling but it is painless. They basicly use one of these (see picture below) filled with warm water and after a few times, Bam!

Ouchie!

Getting your ears syringed is the weirdest feeling ever, and you dont realise how loud everything actually is until its been done. A lorry drove past me after Id had mine done and I nearly wet meself.

Hope you get your hearing back soon!
