Dull, lifeless, thin hair!

I've never had fabulous hair, but in the last few months it started thinning noticeably and is just dull and lifeless. I can't do anything but keep it in a ponytail. I know that this can by a side effect of pregnancy, and I don't think it's serious enough to indicate thyroid problems, but does anyone have any tips?

Mine seems to have done the opposite during pregnancy. I've had fairly thin hair, without much body. A couple things that might help... Frequent hair cuts. When you have lots of split ends, your hair looks thinner, and kinda stringy. Use shampoo and conditioner that increase body, since this will make your hair look thicker also. And put in a volumizer before blow drying your hair. Hope that might help some. =)

Try a different shampoo & condition for lifeless hair? Also blow dry hair after washing! Helps me mines always quite lifeless *sigh*. You can get stuf fin boots etc to add womph but I've never tried them.

When I get fedup of mine I curl it (light perm) to give it a bounce!
