cervical problems

So with the news of Jade Goody recently I guess a lot of women my age are worrying, I went for my smear yesterday which was a recall after an abnormal one, the nurse said I have a 'huge' lesion on my cervix. She said it was bad. Its never been picked up before and she said its not in my notes.

I asked if birth could have caused it and she said no. I'm really worried now.

Hope all is ok. Do you have to wait a few weeks for the results?
