sorry i really dont know but are you saying you are getting LESS money on MA, but they are asking you to pay MORE towards your rent? sounds bloody bizarre, unless i read it wrong, but if i did get that right then i would call them and query it
maybe someone has made an error somewhere but if you are getting MA and working tax creds and child tax creds then maybe you just have too much coming in to claim higher housing benefit

if your MA is less than your normal income then question it hun xx

do you earn less than 90% of £123 about £111 a week?

if so and your only getting 90% of your regular wage then it may be that they think your getting 123 a week (the reg amount of MA)

so if your normal weekly inome in £100 then you should be getting £90 pw MA but they might think your getting £123 if that makes sense!

If you are getting less money on MA than you were previously on what ever your income was, then I would ring them and ask.

If however, you are better off on MA than you were before, then it could be right.

Ring and ask what they are using your income as.
