Can I be a slasher too please?!!!

We need to move house but with hubby not working in order to finish his PGCE and look after Ethan money is really tight. I need to clear my overdraft before even thinking of taking on a bigger mortgage (if I can't find the money to do that, I surely can't find the money to meet bigger mortgage payments).

So I need to clear 2k. To recoup that in a year I need to save around £160 a month. Eek! If I can do that I can be confident that we will have the extra money to get a bigger mortgage.

I currently have a student overdraft £2000 interest free for 2 more years
Oh student overdraft £2000 interest free until june
£250 on mothercare card
£120 on new look card
£60 on very
We also owe fil £620

we get rougly £1480 per month including child tax, working tax and child benefit.I am too looking forward to the "free" months of not paying pole tax.
I am going to start with paying my new look card off. and then half of the mothercare one.In the middle of feb me and oh get bonuses from work roughly around 200 wel be using that to pay fil back.it feels good to have some sort of plan to pay the money back

Doing good. Not touched the credit cards since started in this thread. Paid E100 off visa today aswell as the savings and payment to mastercard last week. Get paid on Thursday so hoping to save a bit more from that.

+ Well done Needausername you're doing reallly well.

I'm not sure how much I've managed to pay off but I hope it's something atleast I'll have to see what my bank statement looks like after the 1st when all my bills come out. It was -1500 last month.. eek! Hope I've paid off about £250 this month.

This weekend is going to be a huge drain on me. I have a weekend away for an important family celebration. That will be E200 for it so its alot of money but I have to go. I won't be drinking though so hopefully I will come home with some of that money!
