Tax Credits - I kept them upto date yet still I owe them

I applied and got awarded my credit when Ellis was born and rang to amend it as I had just gone onto SMP, it went from £22pw to £43. I went back on Payroll on Dec 16th and rang them the week before to let them know. I have now recieved my revised award I am entitled to 0 and I owe them £285! If I were late in letting them know I'd understand but I have

So now I have no CTC until April and I do not qualify for WTC

that sucks hun i hope they dont do that to OH we had to go by last years pay but he got a pay rise this year we told them though

I thought they would say "ok, so you earnt this much between these dates so got this much and you got this much between these dates so your entiltled to this.." but they do it on an annual total!

Oh great,

I've just read that I am not due any more payments until September 14th!!!! So glad we are doing the childcare vouchers at work, at least I save more than I've lost!
