Well wanting to set up a paypal account so ive filled in the first bit were you fill in your name, address and phone number and those bits but now its come up asking me do i want to pay with my bank account or pay with my debit/credit card??

I properbly sound really stupid now but i dont get what the difference is because my debit card is the card that is linked up with my bank account so it the same account. Can anyone explain the difference is with these two choices and which you use and which you think is easier to use??

Also if i want to sell something on ebay or on here can i get paid into my paypal account and then move the money into my bank account??

I really have no idea about paypal

Any help would be really grateful

You can choose either. Though if u choose bank account it takes about 3 days to come out of ur account, i think the card is quicker.

Thanks hun, ive just added this bit to first post but if i want to sell something on here/ebay can i get paid the money into my paypal account and then can i move it into my bank account??

Get verified now just so you dont end up like me waiting on a letter with a code on it. the bank account is one, the will deposit money into it and out again just to test its you, prevents fraud or something. My bank is same as debit card. Get them to send you the code then you have no spending limits.

Oh right, ye ive just gotten verified and got to wait 3-5 days and see how much they put into my account and verify it that way. Can i use paypal before i verify it or can i sell and buy things now or do i have to wait until that sorted??

Hun when you sell the money auto goes into your paypal, It wont go to your bank until you request it be sent there. So every sale the payment goes to your paypal

The debit card is usually the one linked with your bank account

A credit card is the seperate one not linked to your bank account or isn't usually depending on the type of card/account .

So ive put to get my account verified by having them put to small amounts into my account but just wondered if i can use my account before they done this or do i have to wait and verify those to amounts first??

Thats only part verified, thats what I thought to, Ask them to postal verify you. They dont tell you when you hit your limit you just get a shock when you go to buy something. The limit is £1000. Just saying in case you get caught out I had a seller waiting for 2 weeks to be paid over them as they would only take paypal. They may send you a code automatically as they said they did with me last tear but I never got it
