Formula (sigh)

Dd is keeping me on my toes recently!! About a mth ago she was polishing off 8oz bottles first thing & just before bed, with about 5oz at 2pm too. Then she started to refuse more than 4-5oz at bedtime so we've dropped the 2pm bottle & she went back to having full bottles morning & night. Then she had a major tummy bug & was off everything but water for a couple of days.

Now she's better she has the biggest appetite I've ever known her to have. She's eating everything! No fussiness, she's enjoying her food & seems really happy at the table with us. Problem is - she just doesn't want her formula anymore! If I fight her I can get 4oz in in the morning. Bedtime is a little easier & she'll have about 6oz. It's not enough at 11 mths, is it??

Do I need to get some vitamin drops? I'm giving lots of other dairy but she will not drink cows milk at all from a cup.

Oh no - dd had gastroenteritis in November, it's awful isn't it??! Glad your lo's better. I do put the left over bottle in her cereal on home days but she's started nursery 3 days a week so we literally give her a bottle & then leave. On those days we can't get it into her! Do u think that's ok?

If your baby is having less than 500ml of formula a day the new guidelines do suggest vitamin D drops should be given xx
