finger foods & seconds

Hi everyone ... can anyone advise on the best finger foods to give my 7month old (and 3 weeks)
She is at stage 2 with weaning and does not mind lumps at all but its the finger foods I am confused with she has had cucumber and melon but they are so slippery not a lot of it gets eaten , she has also tried bread and bread sticks.
Also after her breakfast lunch and dinner what are the best things to give as I dont want her to get used to sweet things ..
So any ideas would be lovely

Thanks

To be honest hun, finger foods to me are just for fun. If my daughter doesn't eat much of something, I'm not too fussed because she's exploring the foods, but is still getting her nutrients from her milk, yogurts and cheese. She's gradually eating more or a finger food now. She loves the little rice cakes you can buy, cooked carrot sticks, toast, bread, sandwiches, fruit and veg.
