baby rice

has anyone gave there children baby rice at 13 weeks old??
cos my baby is 13 weeks old tomorrow and he is a very hungry baby. and im thinkin ov giving him a little bit before his feed once a day

I gave My daughter baby rice for the first time last night at dinner and she is 14 weeks. I only gave it to her after her bottle feed to make use of the milk she left as i used that to mix in with the rice. She loved it but only had maybe a spoonful. Best giving to them after a normal feed to be honest as it wont affect their milk intake when they are so little.

i started summer at 13 or 14 weeks, people say not to but i suppose its up to you as you kno your baby better than anyone else. summer was fine with it and loved she knew how to take it off the spoon and get it to the back of her mouth so in my opinion she was ready for it. she was also very hungry and hungry baby milk wasnt satisfying her.
if you think he is ready hun then give it a try!

Is he a formula or breast baby?
If he is a formula baby you can buy the formula that is targeted for hungry babies.It is a bit thicker.Almost like giving solids but not quite.
