I've found that if Ryan completely spits out a savoury food then if I add a bit of stewed apple or pear puree that he'll take it. I just reduce the amount of fruit each time he has the savoury food - it took 3 days to get him to eat carrott without apple puree in it!

If I'm out and about I'll take a pot of savoury food and some rice pud or custard and a separate pouch of apple and pear puree so I can just add a spoonful or two to the savoury food if needed. The ellas kitchen ones are great for this as you can just squeeze out whatever you need and keep the rest for later.
