Transition from Baby Milk to Baby Milk & Baby Rice

my LO has now been drinking 7oz milk
& draining the bottle for about a week now
he was quite satisfied with the 7oz
but today he kept screaming
put the empty bottle back in his mouth
and he was sucking really hard trying to get milk out
so reluctantly i made a little bit of baby rice up
(wanted to leave it longer really)
but i am not sure if he even wanted it i think he swallowed one spoon?
the rest came back out..
is it just the transition of baby bottles to a spoon?think i am just going to make up 8oz bottles..

It's very early to start solids, he is unlikely to be ready. As you say, I would try 8oz or 9oz bottles, and/or hungry baby milk.

I would give 8oz a go & try to keep him just on milk for now xx

If he spat it out he may not know what to do with it. I would up his bottle to 8/9 oz hun and see how it goes. 3 months is really young. Have you spoken to youe HV
