Yep! Alice is toothless and chomps away on most things really well. You only have to let them chew your finger to see that they have quite a bite! She can't chew meat properly yet, but sucks it, so she's still getting some of the nutrients. It's more about practice and exploration in the early days anyway.

Ditto to what the others have said, they can manage fine without teeth.

Ruby could even chew tender meat with no problem at all when she only had 2 bottom teeth!

Absolutely. Rowan's been on BLW solids since she was five and a half months, and she never cut her first two teeth till nine months. You can eat most things that are cooked just with gums, and raw things too if they're soft, like ripe pears or cheese.

Absolutely fine. Emma STILL has no teeth!!!! She has always managed well. Her gums are mega tough. She gums and sucks away. She manages everything- meat, veg, bread, you name it!
