Help with preparing for weaning

Hello

I am preparing for weaning next week and want to get things ready for it and wondered if you could give me any advise and a list of things I need.
My baby is 5 months.

I am going to be buying a blender as I dont already have one (anyone know of the best ones for baby food?)
Also can anyone recommend any good baby food recipe books?

hi, i have the annabel karmel baby and toddler meal planner book which has all sorts of baby purees in etc.

I just got a blender from tesco and its fine. i dont think a lot of money needs to be spent.

as for weaning, bibs, bowls, weaning 1st stage spoons, ice cube trays or little pots as i freeze veg purees as its easier to do a lot at once.

cant think of anything else at the moment.

hth a bit.

marie x

Yes you can't go wrong with the Annabel Karmel books,I just used a hand blender I found it much quicker and easier.
Get some wipe down bibs as the material ones get pretty stained.
Plenty of wipes too for face, hands and highchair.
