Apologies...another stupid question!!


How do I cook butternut squash?!

Is it the same as most things?! Cut it into chunks...boil and then puree?! x x x

Yep, or just cut in half lengthways, scoop out the seeds then roast in the oven until tender. Makes a great finger food that way, but you can obviously mash or puree too.

If you've got a bit of time and you're roasting the squash, you can also rinse the seeds, dry them off with kitchen towel and coat them in a bit of olive oil and a sprinkle of salt. Spread them on a baking tray and roast them for about 15 minutes. Probably not so good for baby, but yummy for you!

i cut in 1/2 scoop seads out put meat down in about 1inch of water and cook untill a dark tan couler lucas loves it
