baby 21 weeks what finger food can i try

can someone help with ideas for finger food for a 21 week old. He has been on baby rice and puree carrot and parsnip and banana and porridge so just wondered if anyone could help with foods i could give him to hold as he is always grabbing spoon so think he would enjoy holding something he can eat.

any advice gratefully received. x

I really wouldn't give finger food at 21 weeks personally. I think that's a little young. But others may think differently, and of course all babies are different...

We weaned at just after 5 months and he wasn't able to handle finger food at all until after 6 months - we tried cooked broccoli, cucumber, all sorts of things. None of them went anywhere near his mouth - some were mashed up and dropped on the floor, others were just dropped and no more interest shown in them.
