Snacks?

Do they need snacks and finger foods through the day? My LO dosnt seem to NEED them iykwim but I was just wondering if I should start giving him things to eat himself?
He is good when I Give him something It goes straight in his mouth and he is good using his drinking cup and when he has a spoon it goes straight in his mouth (not his eye or head) but I am scared he is not geting enough fine motor skills.

Also do you think he is having to much/little through the day:
8am 6oz bottle of milk
10am 7oz bottle and baby cereal
1pm lunch (normally homemade soup) = about half a large cow and gate jar and a fromage frai
4pm dinner normally veggies and meat or cassarole about half a jar again and a frult jar
6pm 9oz bottle and bed for the night until 8am
