yoghurt


tried Matthew with natural yoghurt and pureed apple, pear etc which he LOVES, however OH have bought a large tub of yoghurt does anyone know if I can freeze in in ice cube trays?

Also what other things are good to mix with yoghurt. TIA x

Yes you can freeze yogurt but it will seperate when you thaw it so you'll need to stir it well. You could always mix in some pureed fruit before freezing and serve it as frozen yogurt for a change (Annabel Karmel has a raspberry frozen yogurt recipe which is really yummy).

Mashed banana is lovely with yogurt as a change from pureed fruits. Stewed dried fruits is another tasty option. Honey is nice too for yourself (but not for LO yet obviously). For a savoury twist, try mixing yogurt with finely chopped cucumber, delicious!
