First go at Cereal

So Edward has stopped sleeping his standard 4 or 5 hours in a row at night. He has also been very fussy and waking up every hour or so for the last 4 nights.

I finally took him to the dr to see if there was anything seriously wrong with him and the dr. figures:

a) he's teething
b) he's ready for solids

so on the way home I picked up some organic brown rice cereal and we just gave it a go. He LOVED it. Hardly spit any out and this was his first time with a spoon and everything. AND I bf him first!

Now is his happily bouncing in his jumperoo, which he hasn't done in 3 days!

There could be something to this !!

I found the same! Just a couple of spoons of the rice and he was a different baby. He's napping now, he couldnt before because he'd wake up early starving hungry, so he was eithertired, or hungry, or both all day. Very moany!

well done Edward!

Great news! We did the same thing with Grady!
Crazy how a bit of cereal can change them!

yup, he's totally in love with breakfast/dinner. we started carrots yesterday and that seems to be a hit as well, although he still likes the cereal better
