Morning!! Just found this site and am so excited!!! We're also hoping to try for our first baby around April and i can't wait, it's all i can think about. Made the big decision a few weeks ago and have started taking my folic acid to get ready!!

HI i am also hoping to start trying at the very beginning of march, i am on my last pill packet now but by the time that ends then i have my period it will be the begining of march.

Feb is going to drag!!! i am trying to organise lots of things to take my mind off it and too look forward to other events!!

Yes, we're hoping to start trying for our first little one in April or possibly May too. This has been our plan for awhile because it fits well with life (we wanted to wait for about 6 months after we got married so we could enjoy each other first) and with my work (I'll be able to slow it down a bit next spring). But I've been having stomach problems the past few months, which my GP now thinks might be either an ulcer or a hernia (I feel like such a fat 60 year old man! lol). I'm trying out some new medicine this next month to see if it goes away, but I'm really, really hoping it doesn't throw a wrench in our plans for TTC. Assuming all goes well, we'll be starting to try either on our holiday in April or after we get back home in May!

I'm wondering if any of you will be the first - or the last - of your friends to start a family since this is your first? I'm actually one of the last of my close friends to have a baby (I'm 31), but we'll be the first among my husband's friends (he's 24, I know, almost still a baby himself!).

I'll be the last of my friends, i'm 34, so all my friends are on their 2nd!! Actually feeling very old so hoping that doesn't go against me. DH is 33 and the first of his friends

Thanks! Yes, I feel very old too. Most of my friends are on to their second or third by now, except for the single ones or ones who don't really want children. So I feel we have a lot of catching up to do! Some days I still wonder if we are old/mature/unselfish enough to handle it all, but I guess everyone feels that way at first.

We are the last of our "coupled" or married friends to have children, they are all on their second (I'm almost 28 and husband 29). I feel like I have a lot of catching up to do and kinda feel left out and like I am missing out on being a mum. Half of our friends babies weren't even planned which makes it even more difficult for me

But still, look on the bright side, most of our friends have offered to borrow us stuf when we do have a child!

We are starting ttc in April for number 1 for me number 2 for oh. Very excited. Time is goin far to slowly tho. Lol.

So not long for us all to start trying now. I am 32 and am defo one of the last to have kids. They all seem to have had theirs in the last year.

Just started taking pregnacare and can't stop looking at every baby website out there.
