Would you say its ok to TTC after this being said?

So OH and I had discussed TTC around May time --- and then he said this:

Just asked me WHY I would like another child --- so I told him and asked him why he had asked. He said that he is quite happy with the 2 we have and doesnt feel the need to have one more but that if I want another then he is fine with that and would of course love the child and be there for me and the baby just as he is now for the two we have.........so if i said i dodnt want another after all that would be just fine by hime but equally if i really want another then that is fine too ---- how can it both?

what would you make of that?

Well basically, he doesnt have the urge to have another child, but doesnt see that it would cause any problems if you wanted another one. He is just being considerate of your wants. If you want a another baby he is gonna support you and love you both! If my husband told me that I would be happy. So if you want to have a baby then go for it, your husband doesnt seem to mind.

I agree I just don't think he really minds either way. If you another go for it, as he said he will love you and support you just the same.

Thanks ladies I am wanting to try in the next few months or so...

He is worried about finances ---- but as they say, if you waited till everything was perfect -----we can afford another -- he just worries --- and worries!

It sounds to me like he is happy with the 2 children you have but he is also going to support your decision if you want another child. I think once men have some children they don't really experience the same broodiness that we do.

I have 2 children just now and am planning on TTC #3 later this year, although my husband is not on board yet. He does not want any more children, but I do and so far he is not ready and willing to support me. All I can hope for is that he changes his mind.
