The Rollacoaster

What trauma we’ve been through,
What hurt and such sadness,
The disbelief, the anger, the tears, it’s madness,
But throughout it all when I’ve felt alone
I switched on my computer it was like coming home.

See, you girls here are precious cause you’ve lived it too,
the terrible situation that I’ve just been through.
I’ve lost my baby and you’ve lost yours too,
But together we’ll make it, all of us that’s who.

We sat here and cried, our keyboards all wet,
Describing our ordeals ..ls it over yet???
And now that the physical symptoms are gone,
The heartache and emotions they still live on.

Everyday is a challenge shall I cry or be strong,
Your fine until someone wants to know what is wrong,
'I can deal with it' you say in your own stubborn way,
Well tomorrow maybe but not today.

The men in our lives, cant understand our pain
It’s not their fault all their attempts to soothe are in vain,
We’ll be ok we have friends that are ace
Here on this forum u put a smile on my face.

So now we are here, waiting to try,
All of us anxious not wanting to cry,
We want a baby so much, right away,
But we’re scared of the future every day.

And so we start, the journey again,
Peeing on sticks the fun never ends,
Imagining symptoms, are my boobs really sore?
Do I feel sick? am I eating more?
Is that mucus stretchy? I am feeling more sleepy!
Do I have PMT? or am I just much more weepy!

We’ll get our positive results on that test,
We’ll be brave and smile, we’ll look our best,
But I know you’ll feel nervous and really sick,
When you look at that big cross on the stick.

In time we’ll be here grumping and moaning,
My stretch marks are huge, my feet are so swollen!
I haven’t seen my toes for at least 3 days!
My memory has gone I’m all in a haze!
I’m nevous bout labour, I don’t like pain!
Whats it like? Would you do it again?

After, we’ll log on to chat feeling happy,
With a mug of tea and a dirty nappy,
Smiling back at the times when we were lost and upset,
So don’t fear the risks fear the regrets
