Question

Prenatal vitamins?

Anyone know what I should be looking for when I get prenatal vitamins? I'm thinking we'll probably be able to start ttc earlier than I thought! Or are they all pretty much the same? Any recommendations?

Thanks in advance!

I take "Mum-To-Be" Boots own brand which have a great selection of multi vitamin, calcium AND iron!!! (which not all have), folic acid (of course) and ginger, which I thought was a lovely touch as if you continue them whilst PG the ginger may help alleviate sickness.

They come under the Boots offer of 3 for 2 as well, which makes them quite competitively priced.

Have been taking them for over 3 months now and they have been fine. I have had problems taking iron in the past, but these have no side effects for me.

santogen pro natal + omega... is also a good one.

They also have his and hers, so your oh is getting the correct vitamins also.

they are o.k to start taking now as they recommend you take folic acid 3 months before trying
