Question

Ok What Else Is There To Do?

After reading Bird24's post.

What elase do I have to consider? bearing in mind we probably wont be ttc until sept/oct. Is is natural to be a complete numb nut about this sort of thing??

I am on a healthy diet? planning to loose 2 stone for end April/May.

Go to the gym anything from 2-5 times a week?

Don't smoke (only if had far too much to drink!!!!!)

so what supplements? do I need to go to the docs?

HELP

It's always good to go ahead and get on either a folic acid supplement or a prenatal vitamin at least three months before you start TTC. Good luck when you do start trying!

You sound like you know pretty much all the basic stuff, I wouldnt get too stressed out about it, the main thing I think is to keep your sex life when you do start adventurous and exciting, cos it can soon become a chore!! Keep it lively and do it every other day in order for his spermies to recharge. And starting on folic acid approx 3 months in advance is always a good idea, Good Luck, Candice xx

Hi MandaR

you have inspired me to do the same.

instead of moping around these three months, i can commit to being the heathiest i can be ready for June.

So my plan list is...

- Eat as health as i can..... (lost of Fuit and veg)
- Take Good mutivit with folic acid.
- Drink no more than 2 glasses of wine per week!
- avoid smokey places (i dont smoke)
- Excercise 4 x per week for 30 mins (running)
- Chart my cycle and BBT

plus.................
- get myself looking good so DP want to do the BD with me lots and lots whent the time comes ....

any other ideas? x

Aww thanks. It is all very daunting esp. being past 35 yrs. Although I am a bit like peter pan...

But, with my age I just want it to be right. if you know what I mean. I always thought that I would have babies in my early 20's but I am glad that I have waited then I think about being an 'older mum'. paaaah whos cares anyway.

Cool

I'll be 33 when we start TTC so I am also a mature mom to be (hate the world old ha ha).

Its exciting stuff all round and I was thinking in the shower this week that I know I am going to kick myself if I dont enjoy this time to sleep in and be carefree.

Trying to focus on that and not when I will fall pg :-)
