Great thread

I'm currently a Checkout Operator at Morrisons Supermarket... Pretty dull and mundane but it's just until I head off to Uni in September to do Adult Nursing

DF is a Rolls-Royce Aerospace Apprentice (something to do with planes lmao!) Very good career ahead of him

I work in a popular high street phone shop (the one with the annoying ads!) as a sales consultant. I do love my job but the pressure to sell is too much for me as I prefer the customer service side of it as opposed to the selling. I love gadgets as well! Not sure what I want to do, I studied media production at college but when I met OH I dropped out because I was barely going anyways and we wanted to live together so needed money.

I'd love to study either classical studies/ancient history or english but not sure what I would do with those degrees...

OH is an optical adviser and is brilliant at it, he wants to train to be a dispensing optician but I think he is capable of more and should be a fully fledged doctor, just the training puts him off the idea. I could really see him as a neo-natal doctor or something similar to that.

I always thought by the time I was 21 (nearly!) I would know what I wanted to do with my life and be on the way to doing it! The only thing I've done is a little bit of modelling (a lifelong dream of mine!) and I didn't even get paid for it

Oh well, I'm sure we'll all find something we are good at eventually!

xxx

I know how you feel Jillypoop, I didn't bother trying at college so failed my exams, and now I work in retail but have no idea what my dream job would be I always assumed I'd have settled in to something by now, and I'm also nearly 21 As you say, got our whole lives to think of something! xx

Currently working at Subway as a team leader, not at all what I want to do. Literally only job I could get, even after Uni! Want to train to be an RE teacher next September

I am a nurse practitioner in a doctors surgery and my husband is a practice manager in another surgery.

I really enjoy my job seeing lots of different minor illness and medical conditions.
