Hi ladies, I really need to vent. I'm so upset. I was talking to my SIL last night. She's trying for a baby now but is emotional b/c she;'s off her pills and not "hormonally balanced" as she puts it. Anyway, I was telling her that I won't be much better when I come off my Prozac when we're trying and that I have a doctor's appt in a couple of weeks to discuss it. So, she says to me, "You guys aren't going to be trying anytime soon are you?" What the heck?!?! How RUDE!!!
I went through a bunch of reasons in my head why she would say this to me (because I was really trying not to be angrywith her), but the conclusions were always the same, "it's none of her darn business!!"
That is a very unfair thing of her to say. She's probably worried that you'll get pregnant before her but it's not something that either of you can control so try not to let it bother you. She'll just have to deal with it.
Sounds like those of us who get jealous if a friend gets married before we do. She is just worried you may end up pregnant before her and steal her spotlight. It's none of her business, Good luck
Yeah I agree thats shes probably worried about you stealing her limelight if you get pregnant before her. Honestly people really annoy me sometimes why can't she just be happy for you??? Good luck....
Honestly, I do not think you should worry about your SIL at all. It you guys want to TTC then go for it. Like the other said... it is none of her business.
My friend who has just had a gorgeous baby girl told me when she was pregnant about her SIL who seemed to think the whole thing was a race. my poor friend had been in early labour for a week and her SIL was saying things like "i'd better have this baby before you" and telling her how she was getting on whilst my poor friend was stuck in what seemed to be an eternity of early labour!
Seems some people are really competitive about the wrong things like this, it's not a race and I firmly believe that it will happen when it is supposed to.
