Heeeeellpp!

I'm now waiting until Friday for AF or BFP. Some days I'm hopeful, otherdays I'm convinced that AF is on her way and there's always next month.

Every advert I see on TV is about babies, baby products etc. Yesterday I went to see our neice and nephew (18months old and 11 days old) we were the only ones there without babies. I put on a brave face but felt like a big failure inside. I even heard one of the men saying to my other half "hey, you need to start having kids, you wouldnt feel so left out in the conversation"

Feel really sad and dissapointed in myself this morning, this is my first month using OPKS and we've been trying for 6 months. I know it's not long and I have soooo much respect for the ladies on here that have been trying for longer.

How can I distract myself until AF or BFP arrives? Has anyone been through a similar thing?

i totally know how you feel!! i have a brother and sister, both younger than me who have 2 kids each already, all under 3 years old. and its hard to be around them because it always feels like they think, its not THAT difficult to get pregnant, why arent u pregnant yet! i mean they had it easy, they just think of babies and they get pregnant!! i love them to death but it makes my journey just so much harder!!

the 7 days before af is also the hardest for me!! i try to lose myself in my work but the days just seem to creep by!! i got a bfn at 11dpo and feel like i'm out this month. all my symptoms have disappeared aside for some mild cramping every now and then. i cried myself to sleep last nite because i too felt like such a failure!! i do EVERYTHING right but cant seem to get my bfp!

and my partner tries, but doesn't really understand how bad the tww is. for them, there's always next month....

wel, i guess there is always next month but i really do hope we can also get our dream this month and get that bfp!!!

I completely understand how you feel. It's so hard not to get upset when AF arrives or when you see everyone with babies (especially in your own family)

So glad I'm not the only one feeling like this. My partner is lovely and he always says "there's always next time" and I dont think he quite gets how difficult it can be. I'm not drinking any alcohol, I've cut down on my caffine and I'm trying my best not to do anything that could unknowingly harm a potential baby. (Men don't realise how easy they have it!)

I've got my fingers and toes crossed for you for this month, I'm convinced if AF turns up I'm going to have a big glass of wine and be optimistic for next month.

I might have a dvd and pajama day today - no films with babies or pregnancies though! Hopefully I can go at least one day without symptom spotting (although today I have achey boobs, and for the past few days I've felt like a salivating dog - super aware that I've got a mouth full of saliva yuck!)

i'm doing the same today... just relaxing!! increase in saliva tends to be more pregnancy related than pms so hopefully we can celebrate ur bfp soon!!!
