pram advice - again !!

Afternoon girls !
Having asked your advice last time about which pram/ buggy to get, and finally deciding on the 'out n about double nipper v2', I thought I was all organized!
Well today I have gone to order said buggy, but have had a sneaky look at the 'city select double buggy', which now comes with carrycots - it looks fab !!
So now, once again im not sure which to choose?!?
My options are the nipper v2 double or the city select double .

Any advice would be great ! We live in a sea side town and do lots of camping and walking in woods etc, so i need a buggy that will cope with the off roading side as well be nice around towns !

I shouldn't have looked at the other pram !!

Well I saw it today on kiddicare.com, as I was pricing up which website had the best deals for all the bits we need. I have seen it in our nearest mother are shop (chester) and it's very nice to push and collapse. We've been to see the older version of the V2 in an independent shop(near chester) and it was also very nice to push and collapse! Can't really remember which is bigger width wise - shall have a google later!

compared to the basic double buggies I've pushed for the past 9 years at nursery - both of these buggies are like the rolls royces of the double pram world!

Hi
I'm getting the City Mini Double with carrycots, in fact i'm ordering it next week from Kiddicare. I've tried this puschair out and it's brilliant, really easy to push and collapse. I haven't found a bad review on this pushchair they are all very promising. One of my friends has the double and the other the single and both have been really pleased with them and still are! xx

Yes, when not on mat leave, I run a toddler room in a day nursery, so i'm pretty used to pushing double and triple buggies !
I'm 34 weeks with identical boys - we didn't find out till our 12 week scan - had no idea and hardly any symptoms ! Are yours identical ?

OH has found out that I was having doubts about our original choice and he's put his foot down and told me that we are sticking with our original decision due to the off roading suitablility of the V2 - it does make more sense I guess

I had the iCandy peach double that is similar to the select but the back seat is at the bottom. I would definitely not recommend it as a walking buggy! Great as a shopping etc buggy. I did have a play with the select once in a shop aswell and as soon as I sat my son in the front seat it was really heavy to lift because they are sat right above the wheels.
I agree with the baby jogger we have it and it is great! I think it would be brill for newborns with or without carrycots because with the seats back and the hoods over its like a little cocoon. Also very light weight, easy to push and the easiest buggy I have ever folded!

hi dippy tink. ive worked in daycare for 12 yys now and currently work with 2-3s. We found out at a 7 wk scan there were two, id had and still have pains, so was sent for scan. got shock of my life. alot of mixed emotions, they were also concerned they were momo's. i then had another at 9 wks and it looks like they may have separate scks within one big one but cant confirm til 12 wk scan. so yeh looks like mine too are identical. ive bn worried sick about whether ill carry them ok, if theyll have problems etc, ,y scan is next mon and im so excited but also so scared. im still having symptoms on and off so hoping thats a positive sign. So yrs are boys? u got names? weve got some in mind. its hard picking for two.

Hi, I have the city mini double (2011 model) with the two carrycots and love it! It takes up a little room in the car boot as you obviously have to have room for the carrycots as well as the pushchair but they stack on top of each other so it's not a problem. The pushchair is a dream to push because it's so lightweight-I can push it one handed and hold my toddlers hand and the fold on it has meant I'm actually finding it easier than I did with my little girls single bugaboo!
Friends of mine have the next one up (can't remember the name! The elite mod maybe?) and have said they wished they got the mini because of the weight of theirs.
I have other friends who have the nipper and love it but it's the bucket seats on it that put me off as I found with my older daughter, as she got older she wanted quite upright seats as she found bucket seats frustrating.
The city mini is really fab and although not designed for off roading, I have had it on the beach etc and it's handled better than my bugaboo ever did!

are the carry cots seperate from the pushchair seats or do they just sit on top. does that make sense? my mamas and papas ultima i had for my son, the carrycot and pushchair seats were seperate so you could fix whichever you wanted on.
