Had a show

I had a show/mucus plug loss last night, I phoned up the labour ward who didnt seem too concerned and just said to call back if my BH's get worse or my waters break.

I'm bricking it now lol, I know its not a definate sign of labour but I want these babies to stay in at least for a few more weeks! My mum seems to think labour is going to happen this week lol. I keep getting more BH's and feeling hot and cold.

So we shall see. Anyway else had a show this early?
xxx

Awww hun - hope you're ok. As worried as you probably are, your bubbas have reached the magical 32wks now when the lungs are pretty much fully mature. I know it's not ideal, but there's every chance they'll be absolutely fine, albeit a little teeny.

All that said, your mucous plug can g0, and it doesn't necessarily mean they're gonna be born. I read that the plug can regenerate - try not to preempt things, you may well go another few weeks. Let us know xxx

Oh thats good to hear! I really hope they hang on until at least 35 weeks. Last scan at 30 weeks they were Poppy- 2lbs 13oz and Noah 3lbs 3 oz. The consultant says they are bang smack in the middle of where they should be so I'm quite happy xxx

On that basis they're now probably around 3 4 and 3 10 now which are great weights hun. Scanning estimate isn't accurate either, so they may even be a bit bigger than predicted.

Just have to say, if ours had been boy girl they were going to be called Noah and Poppy too What a coincidence!!! As it is we're calling them Noah and Zachery! I wasn't certain about Noah - I love it, but everyone else raises their eyebrows when I tell them because it is unusual. Now I think, who cares, it's our choice and I love it!!! x
