26 week update

I had a growth u/s yesterday and both boys are weighing in at 2 lbs each! The doc said the biggest risk of TTTS has passed, but it is possible for one to fall behind. I am so happy! Everything so far has been looking good. I will start nst's twice a week at 28 weeks and have growth u/s every 4 weeks now.

That's great to hear, I just found out on Tuesday that we are having two boys. I have just gone 20 weeks and feeling good. Hope the rest of your pregnancy goes well for you! all the best xoxo

Thats brilliant! I had my fortnightly scan yesterday and all is well with my boys too,, consultant said there's very little difference between them and theyre nearly a lb each. She said theyre right for how many weeks i am and she doubts i will get TTTS at this stage now, but will carry on to scan me every two weeks until i reach 28 weeks - if all is well by then it'll be every 4 weeks

I was also told that as long as everything goes smoothly, there's nothing to stop me from having a normal vaginal delivery. Have you been told how you'll be delivering them?

Great weights!

Chetnaz, I was all geared up for an elective c-section, but my consultant is now trying to steer me towards a natural delivery - am weighing up the pros & cons of both.

I'm really confused about it now. I'd just got my head round to having an elective c-section, but she was very sure of herself that she will be able to deliver them naturally if the rest of my pregnancy goes smoothly. She was quite positive about it really and said it would be better for me as i've already had one baby naturally so i can deliver these wo naturally too. She was really nice actually, saying that she'll give me her number and even if she's off duty if i go into labour bfore the planned induction, i should call her and she will come down to deliver them herself. Im just worried about the risks there may be for twin 2. We'll just have to wait and see i guess....

I'm having a c-section since I had an emergency one with my daughter. I really wanted to try for a vbac this pregnancy, but when I found out I was having twins I was more hesitant.
