My 32wk bump.

Finally found the courage to post my pic. I am so embarrassed about posting in my pj's but that's the only thing I'm comfy in at the mo - and I'm on bed rest, so getting dressed is pretty pointless.

I'm so thrilled these boys have stayed put til now - never dreamed that could be possible. A little nervous at their size tho, I'm concerned that huge bump means I'll "drop" at any moment

My son was over 9Ibs at 39wks, and this bump is much bigger than his was at term. Can I go on for longer do you think?

I don't have any advice but just wanted to say you have a lovely twin bump there! When you do drop, maybe the doctor will tell you the options you have from that point. Good luck to you!

You look great! I have had several nine pounders, and my bump is much bigger this time around! Keep doing what you're doing and keep them cookin as long as you can! Love the pj's too!

THanks m2m, that's hugely reassuring

I have constant aches, pains and BH so I am always convinced I'm gonna have them early. I know that uterine size signals the body that it's time for labour, and given these boys are already 4 1/2 to 5 pounds I am nervous.

Do you get needling/stabbing pains under the skin from all the stretching too? COmpletely different experience to my singleton babies - never sure if it's normal or not

x

I have not had those pains, just itching...Don't be too nervous..I just keep thinking bigger=healthier! I want to walk out of the hospital with the two littles quite soon after giving birth! All those pains/aches are normal..Also, docs think that the baby puts off a protein when their lungs are mature that sends the Mom into labor..That's the latest anyway..So, keeping patient..having good days and bad, and mostly on the couch these days!
