I have a UTI and didn't even know!

Just had a call from the hospital to say that my urine test had been sent away last tues with a ? UTI. It has come back positive so have to go and collect some ab's today. Bit cross that it has taken them over a week to tell me. Apparantly it was +++ leucoytes????
Anyone else had UTI and didn't know?

my midwife done a urine sample on me at my booking appointment and sed i had a few of these present but she never sent my sample away

i didn even have any symptoms neither she asked if i had backache but nothing i suppose u can have uti's that are symptomless they might of picked it up just in time before it got bad xx

wow thats a high level of leucoytes! Poor you! Hopefully the antiboitics will clear it up though. xxx

Couldn't even get the ab's today! Picked up the prescription from the maternity building to be told had to go to the main hospital to collect. Drove over to find over an hour waiting time! Had lexie with me so no chance of waiting, will have to go back tomorrow and collect them!

Blimey! Hope you get your antibiotics tomorrow. I have never experienced but I was tested for it a few times x

I actually thought i had no symptoms but looking them up realise I have! I'd just been putting them down to pregnancy! x
