just found out expecting twins!!!

hi...i had an early scan today as was on clomid & got my bfp on 20th feb. Im just over 6 weeks & saw the 2 sacs & 2 heartbeats...very excited, nervous, scared all wrapped into 1 lol!!! the scan man said my next scan will be the 12 week one is that right?? is there wnything i should be taking apart from folic acid?? im sooo scared!!!!!!!!

Congrats and welcome hun

Folic acid is all for now. A scan at 12wks is the usual pattern - extra scans come later.

Twin pregnancies are quite something - enjoy!

Wow Congratulations that is Awesome... Great news..

Folic acid and prenatals, they will do a scan at 12 weeks too... Congrats to ya...

Congratulations hun, I found out I was excepting twins at 7wks after a round of IVF..

My OB scanned me every 2wks till my 13wk NT scan, but from what I understand just waiting till 12wks is the norm..

Hiya.

I conceived my twins naturally and I was only scanned at 6 and 8 weeks because I had previously had a miscarriage. At 6 weeks there was only one baby and the other sac was empty and at 8 weeks I see two sacs and two babies!!
I then didnt have another scan until 12 weeks and from 12 weeks I didnt have another until I was 20 weeks!

Congratulations hun. Twins are an amazing gift xx
