Double Buggies

hello everyone,

I currently have a 1 year old daughter and im due to be giving birth on the 24th may 2010.

I am looking for double buggies. Preferably a rear facing and forward facing section and can hold a car seat. I have found 1 so far and it is ridiculously over priced consideing it was for £1000+ and i have found normal double buggies for a little over £100

any suggestions?

I am sorry, I cant help much but am curious what people come back with.
I am liking the icandy pear at the moment (test drive one Friday )only because there arent many doubles that can accomodate 2 newborns without being side to side. I really likes the Phil and ted ( i think thats what it's called) but it couldnt take 2 newbies.

Good luck with your search

graco stadium duo, it is the one i have and while its very long (lol) i dont think you can expect anything else off a double buggy, it fits a car seat on the back seat so you can make it into rear facing with the front seat front facing and is really very good

there is one i saw in mamas and papas which looked amazing but was 600 odd quid so we couldnt afford it i cant remember the name but you could take both seats off and have them either both rear facing or one forward and one rear or both forward

x

The first wheels city elite has numerous ways to work it.

You can have both seats forward facing or both seats rear facing, you can have one forward and one rear facing, You can have a seat for your 1yr old and your new baby in a carrycot or car seat.

This was the buggy I was going to get but it didnt fit in my boot.

There is one in the states called Contours...it has the ability to switch the seats around to however you want. I am waiting I think to buy the matching Chicco stroller that comes out in April to match the car seats i am getting. For now, I am going to use the snap and go with the car seats.

I have having a right dilema about which pushchair to get!!! I thought I had decided on the Nipper 360 as the reviews are very good and its not that expensive compared to others. But I have this nagging in me that says I really should get a pushchair where I can have the little ones facing me so I have now been looking at the First Wheels City Twin. I am just so confused!!!!

I have just been and collected my pushchair today. We have had the Icandy peach twin. Only thing I am dissapointed in is the lack of girlie colours. They had an orangy one but I really didn't like it, so had to go for the blackjack instaead. Am having some liners made in pink though, so hopefully that will girlie it up! It is lovely and worth every penny! Obviously though i have sorted seats for the twins but i have no idea about what to do with Lexie! She will be about 16 months when they arrive!!!
