a question for you yummy mummies of identicals!

ok, so i went for an early scan this week (6w4d) and they couldnt get a very good view of the bean. however, the sonographer and her assistant both made a big fuss over what a large gestational sac the baby was in. it looks pretty big to me, too. i asked whether that could be a sign of more than one and she just said "well i can only see one."

i just wondered if anyone has had a similar experience at an early scan and went on to discover two babies later on? it kinda makes sense that a bigger sac=more babies. i am so rubbish at googling though and havent really found any info on why it could be bigger than average. ill get my scan pic on here later x

Nah, well not until the 12 week scan. I mean, the only thing that made me wonder was that i have had bad morning sickness this time whereas with my son i didnt get it at all. But then it could be down to me possibly having a girl this time i guess? I was just curious because of the big sac thanks anyway girls! xx

hyperemesis? you poor thing! the morning sickness i have had has been fairly mild in comparison to what some people have to go through and its still making my life a misery, so you have my utmost sympathy!! Has it started to ease off some now? a friend of mine had it with both of her pregnancies and ended up being hospitalised several times
