Yeah Fynn that is wonderful news I am so glad he is doing well. What about Sam, what a little trooper soildering on back and forth to the hospital everyday. Sounds like your boys are doing wonderful and I hope Fynn is home with Mum, Dad and his brother Sam on Wednesday.

HES HOME WE'RE HOME ALL TOGETHER AT LAST!!!

He did so well with the feeding that they let us go after 24 hours - I was a bit scared doing the 24 hours and overnight alone but they were fabulous. Sam who is a horrific sleeper just snuggled in with big bro' in the same cot and I woke them both up to feed them every time!!!

We also have decided to express and bottle feed for a bit as I dont think sam is getting enough at each feed - he has been taking 60ml every three hours out of the bottle and then just sleeps lol. He is sooo much less screamy and content the last 48 hours it is amazing!!!!!

Sams hips are A1 - they tell you the result then and there. Basically during delivery they can pop out if baby is breech (not sure who asked about it above)

Anyway - dinner is in the oven my boys are asleep and its 6.15pm - life begins TODAY!!!!!

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

OMG OMG OMG why hasnt the human race died out millions of years ago!!!!!!

TOTAL novice me feels like she has been hit by a car!!!!!!!!

My boys are astounding amazing and I STILL cant believe they are mine but how does two things sooo little reak such havoc!!!!

Yesterday I didnt even get as far as showering and last night snuck a massive 2 hours sleep (I am or WAS an eight hour girl)

In my naivity I just expected them to be the same - like little clones I guess but nope (even feel a bit stupid admitting that lol) Sam HATES feeding from the breast I did it for 2.5 weeks and my nipples were streaming blood - he just wont open wide enough to latch on properly. Sooooooo on sunday I started expressing for him too as I was doing it for Fynn. Anyway fast forward to Fynn coming home - lord what a messing bottle feeder he gets soooo much wind and spends the next hour screaming and crying. Soooooo today I tried him on the breast OMG OMG OMG what a natural - he latched on perfectly and I managed a 15 min chat to my mum on the phone with no tears or blood (from me) or anything lol.

Sooooooo I guess the moral of this story is dont expect a sensible post from a fist time mum with three week old twins hehehhe

ps just to tell all you pregnant first timers - nothing in the world matches being a mum I would never sleep again just to keep them fed so dont be scared xxxxxxxxxxx

Yes, it is crazy but I promise you, after about 3 months you will feel like a pro. I tote the 2 around like it's always been that way. The sleeplessness does end and you WILL NOT die from lack of it. I promise, even though it sure seems that way. I now get 6-8 hours of sleep a night and the girls sleep mostly through the night at 3 months so let this be your light. : )

Motherhood is amazing though, isn't it!!! More than I could have ever expected it to be.

Truly SLEEP WHEN THEY SLEEP! I was bad at doing this and I think it would have saved me a lot of zombie moments.

Enjoy! It's so much FUN!!!
