Monochorionic Diamniotic? What do you think?

Hi my name is Amanda and i am just over 10 weeks with twins. My dr. thinks they are Monochorionic Diamniotic. He said he thought he could see a single chorion but two amniotic sacs. The scan pic was done at 9 weeks. I have another scan at 12 weeks. I would really love to hear from people that have had Monochorionic Diamniotic twins. I am really worried at the moment as i don't know much about it.
Thanks

Congrats on the twins I know there a a few of us on here who have had mono/di twins! Is there anything specific that your worried about ? I had mono/di girls and had a few complications but all in all I carried them 36 weeks and they are healthy babies and were able to come home with me ! My twins did have ttts but the exstent of how bad it was is unkown because I have yet to recieve the picture of there placenta and information.

Here's a link that tells how they tell.
It's called the twin peak sign, and seems pretty reliable.

I know when I have my scans, she says for sure that ours are frats because of how thick it is..

Thanks heaps girls, I guess i will find out more in just under 2 weeks. I am just glad there are people on here that i can talk too.
The Dr. said that he thinks they are frats. Is there a big diff between fats and identical with the Mo/Di??

With frats, because they have their own everything, it's the most worry free way to go. No twin to twin transfusion worry. they will just grow..Keep us posted!
