Routines with multiples

I was hoping some of the other multiple mums might be able to share some of their early routines with babies as I'm beginning to worry that I'm not doing enough I know it's difficult with multiples, and as a first timer it's just worrying me even more. Also, if there are any suggestions of activities that are good for young ones... or is it still a bit too early on for me to be worrying?

Thanks in advance

I feed every 3 hours during the day and follow every feeding with wake/play time. I then lay them down to nap for 1- 1 1/2 hours until the next feed. We stick with that pretty well. Sometimes they don't nap or nap well. At night I just let them sleep but so far the longest stretch has been 4.5 hours from feed to feed. Hoping that will stretch out soon. For the most part they sleep really well between feeds at night (last night was an exeption).

I always feed the other if one wakes up hungry.

I'm fairly rigid with the schedule because I don't think there's any other way with twins especially where I have to go back to work in 6 weeks.

This is a great thread because I always wonder what other people do as their daily routines--even for singletons. There are so many theories out there!

OH, as far as activity, I do a lot of just letting them move their arms and legs while on their back, tummy time, talking to them, bouncy/vibrating chair, and just sitting there and cuddling them. That's about it so far.

My twins started sleeping through the night on their own at 8 weeks, and thats when we started taking them upstairs to their room at 7pm.
Because for the first few weeks we just kept them downstairs with us,it took couple of days for them to get used to it,but they did and it wasnt any more difficult then with a singleton.

I think routine is very important, and should be encouraged, babies love it too and after a good nights sleep everyones happier
