I had an ectopic in March and I am being scanned every week to ensure everything is ok.

I attach my scan at 6+3 and the fertility nurse said she couldnt rule out twins. He saw one heart beart however could the area to the right of the very clear sac be another? Or is this just a shadow?? I am just not sure what she meant when she said "couldnt rule twins out"

eeekk what a wait you will have to your next scan - I dont know whether its shadow or not tbh - the scan pic in my sig was at 6 weeks and there is obviously two sacs but I know all pregnancies are different. Best of luck xxxx

I don't know..Sorry..I had my first scan at 9 weeks, and at that point, it was really easy to tell..Just not sure on yours..sorry

Well this is my 6 week scan picture and it's really clear. It is possible that there could be a second sac in yours. However, in the clear sac, there are 2 white crosses, as though the sonographer has marked the babies' positions with her computer. Could it be possible that the are 2 fetal poles within the same sac or am I just being dense? lol

I see something but I can't tell for sure either. At 6 weeks, they should be able to see the heartbeat. Good luck on your scan, hopefully it's soon.
