| She seems like a very selfish woman, who should probably be forced to seek mental health care. Has she ever heard of fertility treatment?! And I don't suppose she's given a thought to the environment or the UKs already huge population. She's treating having children like a hobby - what a tw*t! | | | | Status: Offline

| Its very irresponsible to intentionally continue having children when those she has already don't even have proper beds to sleep on (in the article it was mentioned that some share an air bed). Thirteen children and two adults in a three bedroom house is silly, in most three bedroom houses the third bedroom is a single. Also most older three bedroom houses (rather than new builds) there is only one bathroom.
I assume if the council was planning to give her a larger house they would have done it by now. I am wondering if she has read news stores of the council providing for very large families by having two houses knocked together and is thinking/hoping that will happen when she has more children.
The lack of space/privacy must be so difficult for the children, particularly the older ones, it wouldn't really be possible to do normal things like invite friends over or have sleep overs there just wouldn't be space. | | | | Status: Offline

I have to hop on this one..Big families are better for the environment..We don't use things up like smaller families..We buy most of the clothes used, recycling right there, we don't go through a ton of paper products because we simply cannot afford to, nor do we want to, many compost and grow their own gardens, because it's cheaper, we don't buy a ton of things that we don't need...We fix things instead of buying new all the time..I could go on and on, but you get my point..
Also, the birth rate for the U.K. is 1.95 as of last year, which is not enough to replace the people currently there..Anything lower than 1.5 is the death of a nation, as has been proved over and over..economically, and socially. | | | | Status: Offline

As for the house surely the council need to rehouse them? The housing act 2001 says that children of oppisite sex should not share a bed room after the age of ten, although it is imposible to tell what the sex of the children by their names. | I thought as you got older you are more likely to have twins? am I wrong? | No your not wrong you are correct. | | | | Status: Offline

| you will find the reason shes in a 3bed house is because the council dont have to re-home you if you make your self over crowed on purpose which is what she is doing by stating she will not stop till twins... When my aunty and her Oh got together they both had 3 bed houses she had 2 children and he had 3.. When thy moved in together and had there own child the council refused to move them because they became over crowed on purpose so it was 5 boys and 1 girl plus the parents in a 3bed house.
EDIT::
just to add i posted on one of these before and think shes stupid and not thinking of her kids | | | | Status: Offline

Over crowding on purpose that is crap and so wrong.
Here they allow up to 2 children per room so if you have 6 kids you will get a 4 bedroom house. I think if you require larger there is a looooong waiting list. I think 6 rooms is the largest government housing, don't quote me though. | | | | Status: Offline
