How accurate??

So, we have been told that we are having two fraternal boys..They judge this from the distance and that membrane that separates the two sacs..But, with having two boys, I still cannot help but wonder if they might just be identical..So, there are tests that you can buy to do DNA tests to see if they are frats, or identical. Would you invest the money in this or just trust what the docs tell you? What would you do in my situation?

ps what we have decided so far is to wait and see if they appear identical first of all then look into it. I mean if they have different colour eyes or hair at a few months old that tells you really doesn t it

That's a good idea..I had not thought of that..We have children with all kinds of crazy eye colors, so it would be easy to tell...Thanks for that!

no worries - I did some research after this thread last night and over here you can get the test done for £80 which isnt as bad as I thought tbh so I think knowing us if there were any doubt then we would we are both really impatient and 'have to know' type people lol.

I'd wait and see. The sonographer told me the same thing. Now that I look at the girls, they look nothing alike. It is very clear that they are fraternal.
