Bottle Feeding Mutiples.... the easy way!

As a mum of twins, who was by myself during the day when DH was at work, i started to struggle as i think we all do/will do with feeding. When you have two or more screaming babies wanting feeding, its hard! I tried the bouncing chairs, holding the bottles, but well, that can make your arms ache, so then you try propping etc... I've been there!

I saw advertised somewhere on the internet before i gave birth hands free bottles..... now i slated them - saying how lazy the mum must be, how its just not right etc etc.
So, i now found myself struggling and thinking hmmmmmm..... so i looked them up, and took the chance and bought a couple brand new off ebay to try.

as a multiple mum - YOU NEED THESE!

Podee handsfree bottles (it wont let me post the link)

It was heaven! both babies could drink happily at the same time! I also believe that they helped them to learn how to hold their own bottles quicker as they soon learnt that the teat they could take out of their mouths, and put back in if they wanted more.

My twins didnt have dummies, so i wasnt sure if they would be ok with these bottles but there were.

I honestly cannot say how highly i recommend these, i think i would have pulled my hair out without them in the end.
If i see a new twin mummy out pushing a pram, i always tell them to look these up as they save some stress!

I will check them out. So far I'm still breastfeeding and it's going really really well! But, when my husband goes back to work I'm not sure what I will do as I really need his help to feed them at the same time.

They arrived yesterday and Jasper is loving his already. Tilly is finding it a bit difficult to suck enough to get it all the way along the 'straw' and keep going. But evenso it means that I can now feed the at the same time

Here's a little video of Jasper I took on my mobile: http://s902.photobucket.com/albums/a...t=MOV00080.flv

After reading this thread I ordered a Podee Bottle from E-bay and it has been an absolute godsend - they're worth their weight in gold!!. I only ordered 1 for my daughter as she feeds so slowly and now she can take as long as she likes without her brother having to wait impatiently. Jake tends to guzzle his food and is still quite a sickly baby so I need to feed him myself and burp him regularly throughout but it's ideal for Keeley - thank you so much for posting this - you've saved my life (and my sanity lol)
