aww glad everything is ok

So cute to see them on screen isnt it? Your next scan isnt till 20 weeks I thought they are supposed to scan twin mummies more often, maybe you should make a fuss lol?

They're scanning me again at 16 weeks because they arent sure if they are identical or not ( couldnt tell if it was one placenta or two).

I loved feel my daughter kick until about the last few weeks when every kick made my whole body shake as they were so strong! Can't imagine doulble that!!!!
How are you doing?
It's mad that your only 4 days ahead of me!!! (my tickers wrong btw!!!)

Yay bump buddies would be great!! Be nice to share it with someone who is so close in dates and another twin mummy! Guess we'll need all the support we can get!
I had severe sicknes that was borderline hypermesis, my midwife was concerned that i would need to be admitted for re-hydration. Fingers crossed i seem to be getting better. I am certainly not being sick all through the day now and it seems to be just in the morning.
I had extreme ms with my daughter though so am not surprised i have twice as bad this time! Have so far lost half a stone from my booking in weight, but i'm sure it will creep back on now.
Have they given you anything for the hypermesis? I really understand how you feel xx
Are these your 1st babies or do you have other children?
I hope you feel a little better today
Take care xx

yay bump buddies lol! Poor you hyperemisis is terrible isnt it? It can be quite hard to be diagnosed aswell, some dr's are reluctant to call it anything more than morning sickness raaar! My doctor is good, really lovely lady I'm back tomorrow ( I go every week at the mo lol) and I've tried 3 different tablets which haven't even touched the sickness My poor DH is being an angel though, he's working from home today because I feel so dreadful . I've been signed off work aswell which isnt fun lol.

Have you been given anything for the sickness? Make sure you push for tablets! These are, are first children! So excited lol! We've gone into overdrive decorating their bedroom and buying things lol! These are your second and third? Your daughter is soo cute! Are you a stay at home mum or are you working? xxx

Well my gp was non to helpful and told me it was part of pregnancy! My mw is great and i had her all through my pregnancy with Lexie so i have a great relationship with her. I was offered tablets last week but choose to wait as my sickness stopped at 13 weeks with Lexie so i was almost convinced that it would again. Must say it has got better but still being sick everyday.
And yeah these babies are number 2 and 3! Was a surprise to have another so fast but we always said we would like them close. Then we found out they were twins so another huge shock! I was on maternity leave until September 14th and found out i was pregnant the begining of September so returned to work expecting again! I only work part time now as a community dental nurse so have a great maternity package working for the NHS!
It's such an exciting time, i think it's hard not to go mad! We certainly did with Lexie!! Said i wouldn't this time but i can't help it!!!
Have you had any thoughts about when you will finish work? and have they said how many weeks they will let you go to?
It's great chatting with someone in the same position and at the same stage! Makes me feel reassured!!!!
xxxxxx

What a crap gp!! Think about changing, just because sickness happens alot in pregnancy doesnt mean we have to live with it!

I always wanted my kids close together your twins and your daughter are a great gap they will be so close!! Working for the NHS well done lol, my work are horrendous with sick pay and maternity pay I'm signed off sick at the mo and I'm only getting SSP of £70 a week! Alot less than I'm used to! I think because theres a good chance I will signed off until the babies are born I'm taking my maternity leave at the earliest point so that will be the endish of Feb what about you?

I was at my consultants today actually, there was the Obgyn, the endocrinologist and 3 male medical students lol! The Obgyn said they will probably let me go to 37 weeks though he thinks I will go into labour before then! I also found out that they are pretty convinced the babies are identical! lol so I will be getting scans every two weeks from now! and consultant appts every 2 weeks very exciting lol! Also had protein in my urine which they weren't happy about lol. So have to watch that!

Any hunches on the sex of yours? xxx

Hi hun!
Ooooo identical! How exciting! I'm gutted that i won't have another scan until 20 weeks!. Will you find out the sexes? Kinda feel with multiple pregnancies you get your monies worth from the NHS! All those people for a check up, how many will there be for delivery?
My consultant said that as long as long as i'm fit and healthy and so are the babies then tehy will leave me till 39 weeks and plan inducing then. Seems like too long to me! She also said though that as their not my first babies, and as it's a multiple pregnancy and as i was induced with pre-eclampsia with my 1st that i have an extremely high risk of premature labour. I spoke to a lady who has twins yesterday and hers came at 31 weeks, and were both 5 pounds!
So i have no idea what to do about work! Think i may apply to leave the end of March and then i can always bring it forward if i need to. It's the not knowing when they will come and how well i'll feel that makes it difficult!
Do you plan on going back to work after?
As for the age gap with Lexie and the twins, i agree it's a lovely gap and if we can get settled into a good routine then we will be great! Ha i'm going to regret saying that when i'm tearing my hair out when their here!!!!!!
Well it's lovely to catch up with you and take it easy!
xxxxx
