Baby day has changed!

In the past couple of days I have gotten more than miserable. The discomfort has all turned to pain. I go numb when I sit or lay down but can't stand for too long. My skin is so tight that baby movements often hurt. I've hit a wall and am certain I will go crazy if I wait until Monday to have these babies.

Therefore, my doctor will be doing the C-section a few days early. We are scheduled for check-in at 10 am on Thursday, November 5th and the C-section will be at noon. The guilt I feel is horrendous. I feel awful and feel a bit like a failure for choosing to bail early. However, my body physically can not do this anymore.

Huge prayers that all goes well! If they need any NICU it should only be for a few days.

I agree with Miel. You are absolutely NOT a failure! I've sat back and admired your attitude throughout your pregnancy. Good luck on Thursday! I can't wait to see pictures of your huge baby girls!

You're not a failure for having your babies a few days early. I've carried ONE baby to 39 weeks and I was sooooo uncomfortable, I can't imagine what it must be like for you having 2 babies inside you.

Good luck for Thursday :-) hopefully everything will go smoothly and you'll be home with your family before you know it.

Wow Thursday - a bonfire baby ( I mean two lol) yay!! I am hoping to be getting my BFP then

You are not a failure for having them delivered a few days early -your health is really important too -you'll be the one who needs to be strong to look after two babies.

My niece (right enough only a singleton) was born (spontaneous vaginal birth) at only 34 weeks and was fine and went home the same day, she was 5lb 13. And many multiple births dont get as far as 36+ so you have done really well -dont feel bad about yourself -you have done a fab job!!! Do you know what weights your babies are estimated at?

Good Luck for Thursday OMG two babies by the weekend -you are so lucky xxxx

3 weeks ago they were estimated at 5.5 lbs and 6 lbs. They've been in the 90th + percentile throughout the entire pregnancy. Was suppose to find out estimated weights at a growth scan tomorrow but it seems that won't be happening!
